Udawalawe is open grassland and elephant country. Yala Block 5 & 6 is dense forest and leopard territory. The approach is the same — slow, patient, honest — but what you see and how it feels are completely different. Many guests do both.

Yala Block 5 & 6

Dense scrub forest, remote tracks, and the highest leopard density in the world. Far fewer vehicles than Yala Block 1. The kind of wildlife experience most people don't know exists in Sri Lanka.
